A ceremony was conducted in our school on June 20, 2017 to felicitate Ms. Aiswarya Sagar IPS, who was a former student of STRS and RANK HOLDERS of the 2016-2017 ISC,ICSE board exams.

Rt.Rev.Joseph Mar Barnabas Episcope was the chief guest of the function. Dr.Rajan Varghese, Secretary of the MTCES and the member of the executive committee Mr.P.M.John also attended the function. The Presidential address given by the Thirumeni was warm and enlightening. He presented a memento to Ms.Aiswarya Sagar and trophies to the state and school rank holders.


ISC/ICSE 2017 results
Our school recorded 100% pass at the ISC and ICSE Board Exams 2017.
In the Science Stream, out of 102, 77 secured DISTINCTION and 24 secured FIRST CLASS. Mrinal Shankar and Nihal Shah Paedickal secured the FIRST position with 98%. They also secured the SECOND RANK IN THE STATE. Namitha Renjith and Titus Ben Sajan secured the second position with 97% and the third position was secured by Aneesha Mary Sajith with 96.7%.
In the Commerce Stream, out of the 37 students presented by us 17 students secured distinction and the rest secured First Class. Agreja Nair P secured the First Position with 95.5%. She secured the FIRST RANK IN THE STATE. Anu Maria Anil stood SECOND in school and STATE with 95.2%. The third Position was secured by Atul James with 91.7%.
At the ICSE 2017, out of the 219 students presented by us 121 students secured above 90% and the rest secured Distinction. Parvathy S Hari secured the First position with 98.6%. She also secured the SECOND RANK IN THE STATE. Karthik C Narayan stood second in the school and THIRD IN THE STATE with 98.4% and the third position in the school was secured by Jerry John Thomas with 97.6%.


Our Rank Holders:This year our school topped among all the ICSE schools in the state with 5 students securing State ranks- Lakshmi.S.Sunil stood first and Ashwini.A. Kumar secured the third rank in the state at the ICSE (X) 2016 with 98.3% and 97.8%. In the ISC(XII) science stream, Visakh.S stood first and Lakshmi.S.Menon secured the second position in the state with 98.5% and 98.2% marks. The third rank in the state in the Commerce stream was secured by Jude Antony Lourdan with 95.5%.


" An awareness session was organised for the students of std VIII and VII on "JUNK FOOD" on 18th August 2016 in STRS auditorium. The session was held by Dr. Kristin Indumati, Consultant Neonatalogist , SUT hospital. The session was eye-opener to students about the factors leading to various life style diseases as a result of high dependence on fast food."


An awareness class for students of Std VIII on "Childline" and a short animation film "KOMAL" was shown.

An Orientation Programme on"Leadership skills" was held for Prefects by Mr. Sajan Varghese, a member from VIVO.
