It is popular because it can be played as a competitive sport or a casual game on the local court.Playing basketball boosts mental development and develops better coordination and motor skills. Coaching in basketball continues to be held after regular School hours.External coaches who are competent and skilled are invited to provide the coaching. Almost 44+ students where present in the basketball coaching in the academic year 2018-2019. 95+ students have already enrolled for the academic year 2019-2020.Also the team has competed in several inter school and state championships.
